Geek-box prodigy

I must confess - I have a strange fascination with unlikely music being played on the accordion (really, any instrument that just seems to clash with the idea of the music, like Star Wars on a harp or on bagpipes, but I digress). Now, normally, I would keep this fascination to myself, but I enjoyed this video so much, I had to share. This is an amazingly wonderful rendition of one of my absolutely favorite pieces of music ever, Bach's Toccata and Fugue in D minor.

Scientists and dancing: safe mix for society?

Today's Science magazine has an article entitled Can scientists dance? Apparently this includes a competition on a dance representation of the performer's PhD thesis. And after the dance competition there was music entertainment called Molecular Code - music created only using sounds in a molecular lab.

Dane and Aaron could have taken a few cues from these guys. The level of dedication and ingenuity that went into this office prank is just amazing. I can't decide whether these guys or the guys who turned their roommates stuff upside down are better pranksters.
